Will there be any questions related to politics asked in SSB interview?

I have heard that questions may be asked from any field during the SSB interview. So will there be any questions asked from politics? If they are asked then in which task they will be asked? For example will there be questions related to politics in personal interview or group discussions or lecturette?

SSB interview is very unpredictable. In personal interview of SSB interview any question from any field may be tossed at you by the psychologist. So it is obvious that questions from politics may also be asked during the SSB interview. Politics in any nation plays vital role for the nation's future course. Future officer should have fair idea about the politics of not only his nation but also of international political situation. If you don't know about politics, then you should have idea to tackle this situation and should convey the message in polite way.
Still I strongly believe that one should have idea about politics.
You can easily update yourself through reading news papers and magazines.
