When is the AFCAT exam held by Indian Air Force?

Written by Neha on Dec 19, 2017
I am wondering when AFCAT exam is held by the Indian Air Force. Its it held annually or biannually? It will be great if anyone can guide about when and how many times Air Force Common Admission Test is held for officer selection in Air Force.

Indian Air Force conducts Air Force Common Admission Test i.e., AFCAT exam to recruit officers i.e., pilots, technical officers and administrative officers. AFCAT exam is held twice in a year. AFCAT exam is only an entrance test to shortlist candidates for further 5 day SSB testing. One can apply for AFCAT test to become a pilot in the Indian Air Force.
