Written by Sharad Kumar on Dec 14, 2016
I am a B.Tech graduate working as as software developer for past 2 years. I want to join Indian Air Force and have applied for AFCAT 2017.
I had qualified AFCAT written examination in 2014 but could not attend SSB due to some reasons (family member's pressure for IT industry).
But now I made my final decision to join Indian Air Force through AFCAT and I am preparing for exam.

Here I am writing to you for SSB medical exam details.
I am an average physic boy (Age -22) with specs (~ -3.50 D) and my height is 178 cm. I am worried about my one rib is just little suppressed. Can it create a problem for me in medical. I have applied for GROUND DUTY POSTS (ADMIN & LOGISTIC).

I would be very thankful to you !

Medical examination of SSB interview is kept confidential. Eye sight is acceptable for officers posts in Indian armed forces. Coming to your rib issue, consult a doctor to find out if that is really an issue. In general if you don't find any problem in day to day life then you will get through the SSB medical examination. So go on and grab the opportunity to achieve your dream.
