Indian Air Force for first time in its history has given opportunity for all shortlisted candidates in AFCAT examination to select date and venue of SSB interviews. Earlier IAF tried to give this type of online choice but could not succeed due to technical problems. There are total four Air Force Selection Boards available to choose for giving SSB interviews. Selection of AFSB place and venue is opened from 4:00 PM on 20th March and will close on 15th April 2013. Here is the complete step by step procedure to select place and venue of Air Force Selection Board for SSB interview testing.
In order to choose date and place of SSB interview, go to www.careerairforce.nic.in and click on "Candidate Login" link.
You will be redirected to AFCAT candidate login page. Enter AFCAT user id and password. Provide verification code shown on the box and login. After successful login, check out the marks of AFCAT exam. Also check out AFCAT cut off marks. If you have scored more than the cut off marks, you will see a link "Select Interview Date/Venue" in AFCAT candidate webpage.
Click on this link and all AFSB centres list along with the dates and seats available will be displayed. Select the AFSB of your choice and place you wish to appear SSB interview. After choosing AFSB place and date, all candidates need to generate call letter by clicking on "generate Call Letter" link.
